Tapuscript of about 131 pages "Flâneries d'un artiste, Impressions Algériennes", circa 1950 in a red Moroccan binding stamped with Maghrebian ornamental patterns gilded with fine gold.
(Tears and insolation of the binding).
This album is illustrated with a set of oils, gouaches and sanguine or pencil drawings on paper representing landscapes, architectures and street scenes illustrating travelogues by Gustave Reynier in Algeria between 1937 and 1950 (Algiers, Blida, Djémila, Tipasa, Bou-Saäda).
In illustration out of text on strong Canson of color: 5 oils, 11 sanguines and chalk, 13 gouaches and a watercolor and ink on paper.
In-text about fifty sketches in pencil, watercolor, sepia ink or red chalk of small and medium sizes (6/10 x 11/14 cm and 17/25 x 16/25 cm).
