Manufacture Raymond LAPORTE in Limoges. After Francesco LAURANA (1430-1502). Large porcelain bisque bust of a woman, stamped and reversed "RL Limoges", oval molded walnut base (H. total: 50 cm, L: 45 cm). Based on a marble model in the Louvre Museum, the model is traditionally considered to be a posthumous portrait of the Infanta Eleanor of Aragon.
